MISSION OUTLINE DEFINED

Eliminating Barriers– necessary to ensure the efficiency of all programs. Example: viewing healthy eating as a chore instead of essential for a better life.

Setting Solid Foundations– necessary to endure the effect of all programs. Example: getting 7-8 hours of sleep to have energy for fitness sessions

Reaching Goals– necessary to cultivate dedication, initiative, perseverance, and motivation. “Goals” is plural because of “mile-markers”. Every goal- big or small- has a series of smaller goals called mile-markers. Example: walking on a treadmill until you are able to run.

Securing the Longevity of Actions- necessary to prevent digression and create a lifestyle. Establishing health and fitness habits is achieved through focusing on what you do vs what you did. Reaching a goal does not mean the work is over. HFE wants you to live the lifestyle for a lifetime. Example: losing your desired weight, but continuing to eat healthy and exercise 3 times per week as part of regular daily activity.

MISSION ATTRIBUTES DEFINED

Mind, Spirit, Health– being “whole” requires more than physical fitness. Sound mind and peace of spirit create the best environment for physical health and overall wellness.

Goals, Foundations, Longevity– every goal needs to be placed on a solid foundation of principles. This foundation must be able to uphold the goals of a lifetime without wear or collapse. Primary attention is placed on mastering the basic underlayment of living a healthy lifestyle. Accomplishing this prepares you for any goal- forever.

On-site, At-distance, In-office– meeting your needs means working with everything you have going on right now. These 3 areas of service provide the gradual training and time for routines, habits, and comfort levels to be matured before heading out into the “fitness world”. Transitioning into a gym membership is easy once you know what you are doing.

Home, Workplace, Community- in a world of time clocks and fast food, the struggle is made real across the board. HFE believes it is important to provide opportunities for change everywhere you live.
